PHIL014 Lil bit of hard house

Thought it about time for another mix and one heavily inspired by Marlon Hoffstadt’s Boiler Room set from the summer. If you haven’t seen it before, I recommend checking it out as the energy is insane throughout the whole thing.

And without further ado, here’s my attempt at a similar set:

I think I have a tendency to bring tracks in a little too early, a number of vocal clashes and smash cuts throughout are an indicator of that. However, hard house is a fantastic genre to mix. There’s so much energy in the music and the speed is really fun to try to manage.
